This week was slightly different however, in addition to a full performance test, Alba Power successfully trialed an overhauled Marine Tyne at sea. With the full support of our client, Alba Power engineers assisted with removal, installation and commissioning, followed by two days at sea.
Speaking from the vessel, our Tyne specialist Colin Smith commented, “It has been a pleasure working with the local engineers and staff to complete these works in record time, we now look forward to returning the removed engine for our overhaul process.”
As a growing part of our successful business, and utilising our unique, independent test facility, the Tyne has proven to be a sea worthy business avenue.
