At Alba Power we have had significant strategic growth over the past decade, increasing our customer base and geographical spread. We have also developed new service lines, including power turbines and marine gas turbines and are involved in three decommissioning projects this year alone.

The key to our growth is the excellent service we provide to our customers – we have a high customer retention rate, with customers citing our responsiveness and service levels as key factors in their decision to enter into long-term service arrangements with us.

As a result of increased demand for our services, we have just completed a £1million extension to our workshop that has, therefore, doubled its size and capability.

Our highly skilled workforce is increasing to manage this growth and we are planning for the future with a new intake of apprentices to participate in our highly regarded apprenticeship scheme.

Given the pace of change at Alba Power and our strategy to increase growth, this seems an appropriate moment to remind customers that our values remain unchanged and we are continually seeking to improve our service capability year on year without compromising on safety or quality.
We are an independent service provider and hold no licenses from any OEM. As a result, our advice and service are completely independent and we have proudly remained independent for over 15 years since inception.

Our independence gives us flexibility and allows us to work closely with each customer to develop bespoke solutions to keep equipment operating reliably, efficiently and economically, without compromising on its integrity.

We work in long-term partnership with our customers, offering through life management of turbine packages and creating one team to optimise package performance.

We offer a range of innovative services and solutions that we believe cannot be matched by any other company working in the gas turbine sector.

Our supply chain has helped us achieve this by supporting us over many years, and by demonstrating year on year their reliability in delivering efficient and excellent service. They have shown over the years their commitment to the same principles that guide us at Alba Power.
